Os protagonistas destas cartas s\u00e3o Amenhotep III e Amenhotep IV\/ Akhenaton (Egipto), Suppiluliuma (Hatti), Tushratta (Mitani), Kadashman-Enlil e Burna-buriash (Babil\u00f3nia) e A\u0161sur-uballit (Ass\u00edria).<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Na correspond\u00eancia estes monarcas tratam-se, sem exce\u00e7\u00e3o, como \u00abirm\u00e3os\u00bb, um sinal de que reconhecem entre si um estatuto equivalente entre si (EA 3, EA 17, etc.). No seu todo referem o envio de princesas e de casamentos entre o rei de um reino e a princesa de outro; e o dote levado pela noiva (ouro, presentes, prata, bronze) ao futuro marido.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>EA 15-16, Ass\u00edria-Egipto<\/strong>: temos duas cartas enviadas por Asur-Uballit a Akhenaton, relativas ao envio de presentes e \u00e0 trocas de cortesias entre monarcas.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>EA 17-30, Mitani-Eipto:<\/strong> enviadas pelo rei Tushratta, versam sobre casamentos reais, o envio de presentes e a cortesia entre reis.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>EA 26,\u00a0 de Tushratta \u00e0 Grande Esposa Real, Tiye:<\/strong> nesta compreendemos como era t\u00edpica a correspond\u00eancia entre o monarca e a rainha eg\u00edpcia. Ambos os estadistas, discutem o estado das rela\u00e7\u00f5es diplom\u00e1ticas entre o Egipto e Mitani, ap\u00f3s a morte de Amenhotep III.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>EA 31-32<\/strong>, <strong>Egipto-Arzawa:<\/strong> duas cartas de Amenhotep III a Tarhundadu, em que predomina o tema do matrim\u00f3nio entre as casas reais do Pr\u00f3ximo Oriente.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>EA 33-40, Alashia-Egipto:<\/strong> enviadas pelo rei de Alashia, nestas o tema predominante \u00e9 o envio de presentes (ouro, prata, cobre, cereais, cavalos, etc.).<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>EA 41-44, Hati-Egipto:<\/strong> Suppiluliuma envia tr\u00eas cartas ao Egipto, onde predomina o tema das rela\u00e7\u00f5es amistosas entre os dois reinos.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>EA 43, de S\u030cuppiluliuma I ao fara\u00f3<\/strong>: inicialmente considerada como pertencendo a um rei do Norte da S\u00edria, mais tarde \u00e9 reconhecida como tendo sido escrita por um escriba hitita em Hatti.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>EA 44, de Zida ao Fara\u00f3:<\/strong> a autoria desta missiva \u00e9 atribu\u00edda ao irm\u00e3o de S\u030cuppiluliuma, Zida. As an\u00e1lises petrogr\u00e1ficas revelaram a exist\u00eancia de um peda\u00e7o de tecido carater\u00edstico de Hatti.
